“I will drop everything to see celestial phenomena! When we realized the comet Tsuchinshan would be visible from our area in late 2024, my husband and I made a special effort to drive up to Mount Ashland, where it is very dark, to see it appear. Wonderfully inspiring to see this comet, which passes by earth next in 70,000 years. How vast is the universe. And how amazing. Painted from my memory and photos.”
