“I made this painting while at the Hudson River Fellowship in 2016. The HRF is a yearly three-week-long gathering of 20 or so landscape painters somewhere inspiring on the east coast. The object is to paint outdoors as much as humanly possible. It’s glorious and exhausting. We’d paint sunsets nearly every night. This is one of those sunset paintings.” - Sarah
